What to do with all those percussionists??!!  This concert band piece features 12 percussion parts!

These compositions range from a low brass ensemble to full Wind Ensemble with Piano soloist.  Grade levels vary, but most are accessible to mid to upper high school performing ensembles.

Bowling Green Falcon Marching Band

The 425-member Bowling Green Falcon Marching Band displays their season’s halftime music at the annual ‘Sounds of the Stadium’ concert.  Lisa’s arrangements from the “Falcons Take Flight” halftime show (14:45) features “Gonna Fly Now”, “Freebird” and music from Stravinsky’s “The Firebird” Suite”.  Her ‘Epic’ halftime show music (49:20) features the Main Title music from “Back To the Future”, “Lord of the Rings”, “Gladiator”, “Batman” and “Star Wars”

'Ole Blue Eyes - The Music of Frank Sinatra

Saluting the ‘Chairman of the Board’ – this show opens with “Strangers In The Night”, “Luck Be A Lady”, “Come Fly With Me”, “The Way You Look Tonight”.  The OSU Men’s Glee Club under the direction of Dr. Robert Ward joins the band for the last two selections of “My Way” and “New York, New York”.

Lisa’s arrangement of the street parade music ’76 Trombones’ during the float judging portion of the Tournament of Roses Parade.  This band was made up of more than 300 band directors from all over the United States who came together to form ‘Saluting America’s Band Directors’ Marching Band.

 

Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of women in the marching band, this show with both the OSUMB and the Alumni Band features “Natural Woman”, “Shake It Off”, “Hit Me With Your Best Shot”, “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” and “Roar”.

“Stadium Karaoke” features the crowd favorite sing-a-long hits of “Don’t Stop Believing”, “I Will Survive”, “Dancing Queen”, “Sweet Caroline”, “I Want It That Way”, “Mr. Brightside” and “Living On A Prayer”.

“Can You Tell Me How To Get To Sesame Street” presented the show favorites that included “Main Theme”, “Sunny Day”, “C is for Cookie”, “Rubber Duckie”, “Happy Tappin'”, “Lambaba” “It’s Not Easy Being Green”, “I Love Trash”, “Sing” and a reprise of “Sunny Day” and the Main Theme.

100th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment.  Featuring “Daughters of Freedom”, “Confident”, “R-E-S-P-E-C-T”, “I’m Just A Girl”, “Sisters Are Doin’ It For Themselves”, “Fight Song”.  In the year of the pandemic, the band was able to present this to an online audience.

20th Anniversary of Spongebob Squarepants.  Featuring “Main Theme”, “Stadium Rave”, “Goofy Goober Rock”, “Best Day Ever”, “F-U-N Song”, “Ripped Pants”, “Campfire Song”, “Now That We’re Men”, “Living In The Sunlight”, “Bikini Bottom Boogie”, “Main Theme Reprise.”

40th Anniversary of The Blues Brothers.  Featuring “I Can’t Turn You Loose”, “Everybody Needs Somebody”, “Think”, “Minnie the Moocher”, “Shake Your Tail Feather”, “Jailhouse Rock”, “Sweet Home Chicago”, “I Can’t Turn You Loose Reprise”.

60th Anniversary of the 1957 “Journey West” to the Rose Bowl.  Featuring “Theme from ‘Silverado'”, “California Here I Come”, “Route 66”, “Theme from ‘Big Country'”, “Theme from ‘Lonesome Dove'”, “Theme from ‘Magnificent Seven'” (Along with a few Ohio State favorites!).

Halloween Horrors.  Featuring “Theme from ‘Halloween'”, “Theme from Psycho”, “Dies Irae”, “Theme from ‘The Fly'”, “Oogie Boogie Man”, “Symphonie Fantastique”.

James Bond 007.  Featuring “Main Theme from James Bond'”, “Theme from ‘Skyfall'”, “Theme from ‘Goldfinger'”, “You Know My Name”, “Nobody Does It Better”, “Live and Let Die”.
